Starting situation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Centro-Baj\u00edo-Occidente region is experiencing dynamic economic growth, but is suffering from a pronounced skills gap. Despite a low nationwide unemployment rate, many people work informally and without social security, while companies are desperately looking for skilled workers with practical training. The German model of dual training offers a proven approach to improving the quality of training and employment opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Goal<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim was to improve the employability of young people while strengthening the competitiveness of companies in the Centro-Baj\u00edo-Occidente region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
RESULTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- After the end of the project, 612 companies offered new dual training places. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- 130 engineering and business courses have been revised according to dual criteria. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- 2,010 students started dual university education. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- All three participating states adopted binding minimum standards and guidelines for dual programs and each set up a company council for dual training, which consolidates the dialogue between business, educational institutions and government. <\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
